History: I've always had tons of quotes on my computer since I was like eleven, which would be about seven years ago. My friends always asked me for quotes and it got annoying so I posted them all on a site. I didn't name it or put it up for people to see other than my friends and myself. My first host was Expage because you know, I was eleven lol. After that I moved to Geocities. Quote Mania was open to everyone in 2003 but has been around since 2000 / 2001. After Geocities, one of my visitors, Julie, offered to host me. She owned Robotic-Heart.org. She was my host from October 13, 2004 to December 18, 2005. Then I bought my domain and hosted myself as of December 22, 2005. And we can all thank Julie for helping me set everything up! lol
Behind The Name & Content: The name basically came from the content. This site is based solely on quotes and quote related things. Graphics are not available at Quote Mania unless they involve quotes (doll quotes, AIM fades, blah blah). The content is first organized into the categories (friend, love, etc) and then organized into the sub-categories such as in love, best friends, inspirational. After that, the quotes are retyped and numbered. Once the numbering is completed, I go through every page I already have posted and make sure I don't have a quote repeat, even though sometimes that does happen. That's why it takes awhile to update..
