And I wonder where the friendship went. What about the days and the memories we spent? Now it feels like I’m being replaced. Now it feels like I don’t know you.
And I’m sorry for the smiles we missed, the times that I blew it. I have so much to tell you. I don’t know where to start. Maybe I’ll find a way. Maybe you’ll help me do it cuz friends like us shouldn’t be apart.
And now we’re left here, two separate paths. You’ll take yours and I’ll take mine. We’re left with broken hearts, growing older, and growing apart.
And slowly as the days go by, you lose friends you never thought you would.
As I look back on all that has happened: growing up, growing together, changing you, and changing me, there were times when we dreamt together, when we laughed and cried together. As I look back on those days I realize how much I will truly miss you and how much I truly love you. The past may be gone forever and what the future holds. Our todays make memories of tomorrow. Therefore, it is with all my heart that I send you my love, hoping that you’ll always carry my smile with you for all we have meant to each other and for what the future may hold.
As we get older, things must change but they don’t always have to end. Even though everything is different now, you’ll always be my friend.
As we grow up we don’t lose friends. We just learn who our real ones are.
At one point in time, we’ll say our goodbyes, become adults, and live our separate lives. But sun or rain, no matter what weather, you’re always my friend, now and forever.
At times when I feel all alone, I think of you and my heart heads home. Memories’ path will have no end when shared with you, my wonderful friend.
Best friends soon to fade away and only become a memory and a picture hanging on the wall.
Do you remember standing by your best friend’s car one night after midnight trying to sum up the meaning of a friendship you had managed to maintain through thick and thin for years? Do you remember how hard that was, to think of how to say goodbye to that one person? It was nearly impossible wasn’t it, to give them that one last hug and turn around and walk inside?
Even if we never talk again please remember that I'm forever changed by who you are and what you meant to me.
Even though you're not here, in my heart you're always near. It may be hard when you get sad and blue but I'll always remember you.
Friends we’ve been for so long. Now true colors are showing. It makes me wanna cry. Oh, yes it does, cuz I had to say goodbye. But now I should know that in time things would change. So it shouldn’t be so bad. So why do I feel so sad?
