I realized life is so short and precious you should do things that make you feel inspired, that push you and teach you something. I'd rather not have a big house, a huge closet of clothes, diamonds and a private plane, and instead a body of work that I'm proud of.

I think about how whatever decision I make next is gonna affect my life in a significant way, who I'm gonna meet, where I'm gonna live, the person I'm gonna become.

I try to remember as I hear about friends getting engaged that it's not about the ring and it's not about the wedding. It's a grave thing, getting married, and it's easy to get swept up in the wrong things.

I used to be super trusting but in my position that doesn't get you very far these days.

It changed me more than anything else. You don't wanna get to that place where you're the adult and you're palpably the next generation and this shoved me into that.

It really changed my life. When we split up something changed permanently in me. My heart sort of broke that day and it'll never be the same.

Just like with any wonderful relationship or romance there's always storybook qualities to it but then again we're just two people. It's impossible to convey because people don't seem to get it but it's true.

People have become inappropriate, People have pushed too far. People have climbed one too many fences. People have scanned one too many phone calls. You know, it's very hard. I'm just tired of it.

The best way to mend a broken heart is time and girlfriends.

The simpler things are the happier they are.

The work gets more difficult as you get older. You learn more and you gather more experiences. There's deeper pain and higher highs.

You have this relationship that's really real and really what it is and you don't understand when people comment about it. It just doesn't mean anything.
